that’s what coaching hire season is all about rumors.

And there’s some legit smoke to Kliff. He’s not the top of the list but near it

LSU would have to pay Drinkwitz 10 million a year. No way he is worth that, lol

Yeah, that's kinda what I meant, between him and Verge it's probably a real possibility

Two weeks into the search and the committee is already leaking names?

Pretty sure with that record vs the Top25 and against teams with a winning record you are legally disqualified, by law, from getting a job like LSU or Florida

If you’re going that route…..

Lane Kiffin has a career record of 11 wins and 24 losses against AP Top 25 teams, with a specific record of 5-6 against top-10 teams at Ole Miss. His record is 1-10 against top-five opponents, with one of those wins being against Oregon in 2011 when he was the head coach at USC.
Career vs. Top 25: 11-24
At Ole Miss vs. Top 10: 5-6
Career vs. Top 5: 1-10

Drink is just another BK.

If everybody else turned us down, why not go for the North Texas coach or Golesh? I’d rather take a chance than go for a known commodity who has the same issues as the last coach.

I see. So you'd rather opt for someone who is not a proven winner at the P4 level instead of a coach who is a proven winner at the P4 level. Makes sense.

I'm not saying you should hire either one of these dudes. But to say you'd rather the G5 winner rather than the P4 winner is another level of illogical.

But is Drink a P4 winner? I’ll admit he has done a good job rebuilding Mizzou, but he’s exactly like BK/James Franklin in that he will win the games he’s supposed to, lose the ones he’s supposed to.

The G5 guy wouldn't need a megadeal like Drinkwitz would.

Also, maybe he isn't a massive try hard dork

Hell of a whole lot better odds that LSU gets Kiffin than Drink because i honestly don’t think Verge and LSU are even interested in Drinkwitz. Just a name yall keep throwing out there.
