I generally like Fletcher but everything he's tweeted about this coaching search has been pretty bad.

That hire would literally implode the athletic program. Attendance would plummet more than it already has. Season ticket holders would drop.

No it wouldn’t. To all 3 of these.

I really wish these dumbfricks would quit trying to speak “Bill O’Brien, LSU head coach” into existence. After watching him run the Houston Texans straight into the ground, I don’t want him anywhere near LSU.

BOB would not be a bad hire. He’s known for turning around programs in the toilet (PSU, Texans) and can certainly run an offense. He made Matt McGloin a serviceable QB, that’s no small feat.

He’s not the “sexy” hire, but he’s much more qualified than Mel Tucker or Lane Kiffin.

Jesus. This is what I wake up to? Isnt Deion Sanders available? I read the Honey Badger wants to coach, hire him before BOB. F!@#

O’Brien is a fine on field coach

But I don’t trust him to run a program in the slightest. He’s an abrasive jackass.

Isn’t Bob the one who traded Hopkins and told him it was because he had too many “baby mamas”?

If it’s Bill O, then I’m walking away and not watching football. LSU doesn’t need a Saban rehab coach.

For the donors that are here in Houston I guarantee you the athletic department will take a big hit on donations. In fact, I will pull my donations from the school all together. Bill O’Brien is the worst thing that ever happened to the Houston Texans. He’s an condescending a-hole and a royal prick. He was a bad coach and even a worse GM. Just because we played in a shitty division didn’t mean that we were a good team.

If you’re gonna torture me with ex-Texan’s coaches, i would rather Kubiak over that POS.

He gets so much credit for losing 9 games in 2 seasons because of the situation he walked in. Sorry, but that still doesn't prove much to me. And he was worse in his 2nd season. Usually good coaches project upwards. I still like to see a bit more of a college HC'ing background or better overall record before getting a job like LSU.

I believe Sark is a better offensive coach and recruiter and look how horrible hiring Alabama's OC looks for Texas ATM. I understand we aren't Texas, but I really rather not hire the Alabama OC who they don't even want around.

I don't care what he did in the NFL. He was around a .500 coach. I see nothing else in his college career that is exactly promising. He took over a bad situation and lost 9 games, but he's a beast! Sign me up for that.

Alabama cannot stand his offense. Cost them the A&M game (couldn't get in the end zone) and nearly cost them the LSU game. How do they only score 20 points on LSU's backup defense? That's alarming.

I also don't see Bill O'Brien as a guy that recruits will want to come play for. It's just an opinion. You can have yours.

I would take Kiffin and Tucker all day, every day, over the idea O'Brien.
