So we went from being a top 5 Job in the nation that almost any coach wanted to come to, to hiring Mark Stoops!

I'm not saying any of this info is correct, but if it is, it highlights my big hangup on Woodward. Just throwing ridiculous money at something doesn't make you good. What do you do when money doesn't solve the issue? He doesn't have a track record of finding good solutions, just finding the obvious best and throwing a ton of money at them. Jimbo was in a bad situation and was ready to get out of Fla St., same with Mulkey. Scott just happened to be there with the brinks truck when they were ready.

We will all know who the new coach is at his introductory press conference. Until then, not a damn iota of credible info will leak. That's not Woodward's style.
