Technically no. The initial investigation was into player and coach mistreatment and alleged racism that was brought up in one of our leaving interviews from one of our former coaches.
The sex scandal was mostly an internet rumor that spawned once the initial investigation was underway, that just caught fire and became loud enough that it had to get looked into as well.
Either way, the optics are still what they are, not ideal
