No, this isn't the type of coach A&M is looking for. He's good. Not great.
this is what you said. Insinuating he’s not good enough for Texas A&M.

If you fail, any salary is stupid. But if they succeed, a major college football coach is vastly underpaid.

You almost can't put a price tag on what Saban, Kirby, Dabo and some others have done. From explosive enrollments to local infrastructure, tourism dollars, tax base etc.

Saban would be a bargain at $50 million a year. You can hate football and recognize that.

Saban got that contract AFTER he brought to tide into the greatest run in the history of college football. Same with Dabo. Don’t know when Smart for his massive deal but I know he didn’t start at that when hired by UGA. Jimbo and Kelly and Tugger started at that at their respective schools.

Even a short 10-15 years ago was a different era of college football. It's hard to compare salaries now even to 5 years ago.

But still, not many things can bring value to a city, state and university like a championship college football team.

The University of Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and others are rolling in cash. Much of it due to football, which attracts out-of-state students paying full tuition and greases the alumni donation system.

I mean it’s got to be at least as much as what A&M is paying Jimbo to frick off, right? If not, who would be willing to go somewhere to be paid less than the guy being paid to not be there?

Plenty of coordinators and G5 coaches. Maybe find a good one. But it's a gamble.

How do you pay someone $75 million to frick off and then decide to go cheap?

This is the answer to stay far away from this guy. His offense is scary bad! Defense is dam good enough to win a title.

To follow Jimbo Fisher way of coaching at Texas A&M. That is an easy one.
