Congrats on the hire Tigers

A close friend of mine is on the Ole Miss staff, and they’re finally starting to talk as of thirty minutes ago. No surprise, but Lane wants to follow in Saban’s footsteps, and the LSU job is very important in that aspect. Apparently it took so long to finalize as LSU wanted a higher buy-out number, but they eventually caved and it’s a done deal. He views LSU as the perfect stepping stone to the Bama job in the next year or two, which is why it was his first choice. It’s hard admitting defeat, but best of luck to y’all and enjoy it while it lasts.
