Do the 2014 & 2016 NY6 bowls not count because we didn’t have Kiffin yet?

I was planning on it, but decided to postpone the Oxford trip until I can take my son to see the city and family since we haven’t been able to make it back in a few years. It‘s going to be a madhouse and I’m afraid if we go, it’ll literally just be in and out to see the game while costing an arm and a leg. Instead, we’re going to make the NOLA trip, assuming we don’t choke…
Getting curb stomped in a bowl would also screw up their guaranteed, too-high preseason ranking they bank on to keep them in the top 12.
Shocking as it might sound, I am now banned from the CFB sub for the tenth time this year.

Because a team shows up and gets their arse handed to them by Georgia doesn’t mean they should get credit for that.

Ole Miss played Georgia at Georgia, lead for 3 quarters, and lost at the end.
I’m not agreeing with everything OP said, and I’m trying to look at this objectively. Looking at Oregon’s schedule, which of their games are equivalent to the “bad” SEC teams such as AR, LSU, SC, FL, State, etc.? Many of those bad teams are a few plays away from being 1-2 loss SEC teams. They’re also considered bad because they got beat by in-conference teams ranked #3, 6, 7, 8, 9, etc., all season. The talent differential on an LSU or FL compared to anyone on Oregon’s “bad” conference team opponents is massive. Sure, those SEC teams may not be great or title contenders, but to consistently beat them all season without one or two of them sneaking up on you is much more difficult than making sure you don’t slip up against a Wisconsin, Oregon State, Rutgers, etc.
Great analysis. These are the discussions I come here for.
Nope, don’t care at all. Atlanta in November is totally overrated.

I remember when we lost to Florida last year and thought we had a chance to sneak in based off our resume *insert firsttimememe.jpg*
Don’t disagree, just posting what I found. I thought he’d be a solid option for us.
Some Rebel fans mentioned KB as an option recently, and I thought it’d be a decent hire. So, I did some digging and found a thread on another board of TCU fans rejoicing that teams were considering him. I Googled, and turns out they have a couple of boards, and it’s not just a few rabid fans, but damn near 100% consensus that it’s a Christmas miracle someone’s dumb enough to take him.

I’m not sure how that’s relevant to the statement that we A) have a lot of talent in-state and B) should try to lock them down vs just going full portal. We’re not debating that it’s harder to hold them vs a place like Louisiana, just that they are here and we should make a strong effort to get them.
Just for fun, Ole Miss’s little Vaught Hemingway Stadium: 436-163-11 for 0.722

Also higher than the world renowned “Death Valley” in Baton Rouge.

I asked Grok earlier about NFL talent per capita and Mississippi currently ranks #3 with active NFL players and going back to the leagues inception we’re ranked #1 by a decent margin. Yes the portal has proven to work and it’s hard to keep kids at one place more than a year, but I’d really like to try and lock down the in-state talent for a number of reasons.

I’m not up to date on Gen Z lingo, what is “bag” that he’s allegedly referred to twice in those texts? At first I thought it was an actual overnight bag until I saw it pop up a second time in a different context.
A normal person would want this to get buried as you look like a clown, but by all means keep bumping it.

Romaro Miller commented on this yesterday from a QB’s perspective. He said no QB wants a new play caller coming in, especially for something as big as the playoffs. I hate it as much as you do, but the continuity will give us the best shot at rolling deep.

Side note, every time I see Ro’s name I can still hear it being called over the speakers like it was yesterday. “RO-MARE-OH Miller with the pass. FIRST DOWN….Ooooole Miss”.
Stop, you’re embarrassing yourself. You’ve been deep throating every bait post this morning like Kiffin does cocks at new age yoga convention. Save some for the other Tigers.
LSU fans are super insecure today and I truly think they’re starting to question the move. They’re not thinking rationally and responding to every single post even remotely LSU related like highly emotional women. I’ve said some of the wildest shite this morning and they’re buying it hook, line, and sinker.
We played the preseason #9 LSU (#4 at game time), #13 South Carolina, and #15 Florida. Shocker, beat the shite out of and completely demoralize teams and they drop out. Only Oklahoma was able to bounce back after we handed them the L at their house, and I respect them for that. Teams like LSU aren’t built to handle diversity and soft as shite, not our fault.
