As a Southern Louisiana Native, Coach Orgeron has been a great Ambassador for our region in College Football.

While part of me is hoping there is a some slim chance that these Tigers can finish 11-3 and Coach O will be back on the Tiger Stadium sidelines next Fall, I wanted to see what also might be great fits for him and some beloved members of his staff:

#1) Miami (Florida). Manny Diaz will be out. Coach O, formerly associated to the program, can recruit like no one else and can keep that Southern Florida talent home.

ACC is wide open with Clemson regressing and Coach O can have them in the playoff in 3 years.

#2) Syracuse. Dino Babers is awful. The locals in central New York would love Coach O. He can recruit the South for the Cuse and make them relevant. Also, Syracuse doesn’t mind any past transgressions- Jim Boeheim killed a man and didn’t even get Suspended.

Close your eyes and tell me you cannot picture an image of Coach O with Otto the Orange?

Coach O would be knocked off in Miami by a cartel for trying to bang one of their women at the 7/11

Burrow, Brady and Aranda are not going to Miami.

The only way Orgeron gets to the playoffs is to buy tickets!

O has undergone much personal change since the Natty.

I don’t think he has the burning desire to coach.

I can however, see him as a LSU recruiter.

He's two years removed from a NC. If he isn't commentating, I could def see a high tier program picking him up.

If not, and Napier leaves, ULL would overpay for him.

Other than that, maybe Miami?

USC and potentially FSU. I can't see him in a cold weather environment like Syracuse.

Could Dan Mullen join him as OC?

Lol.

If Napier leaves for LSU or anywhere else, Orgeron doesn’t even get an interview in Lafayette.

Coach O should be financially set. I don’t see him taking a lesser role after years being a HC at LSU—especially to jump back into the recruiting rat race at 60.

A commentator, maybe.

His "buyout" may involve a one-year non-compete (so he can't just shuffle recruits directly over).

However, Coach O absolutely needs to be a Head Coach again. He cannot let his legacy end on someone else's terms. He's a fantastic coach.

I don’t see how his ego will let him work for Saban.

I could see him going to somewhere like Arizona. That program is a complete disaster. One of the worst Power 5 teams I've ever seen.
