Not the ones I know. Still, I think LSU and Alabama fans are the two most demanding, sometimes too demanding, fan bases when it comes to athletics.

Hot damn you guys need to chill the frick out. Just got back from family dinner so I'll explain myself. To the bama poster about 3 or 4 above me, I never said we had more talent on our roster than LSU so I don't know what you're talking about. Now, to try to explain myself for the reaming I just took:

As far as recruiting is concerned. I know that, per capita, Louisiana is one of the top 2 or 3 (if not THE top) state in the country in producing talent. That's per capita and it's quite impressive. I think yall misunderstood my direction though. What I meant was this: LSU has your 4 or 5 absolute blue chippers every year that everyone wants. Georgia has less 5 star elite players, but has TONS of 4 star players in the state. If you look at some of these lists along the lines of "best states for recruiting", you have FL, TX, and CA clearly at the top with Ohio and Georgia right there behind. In addition to Georgia having, what I believe to be, more talent top to bottom, we also pull a ton of kids from talent rich Florida. I think we have about 7 in this year's class alone. We got Aaron Murray and Orson Charles last year, etc.

My comment may have been misguided, but it wasn't a slight to LA and if it came across that way I apologize. For people saying LSU has no instate competition, well we don't really either. GT runs a COMPLETELY different offense than us, and we rarely have head to head wars with them. Teams raiding our state like UT and Bama is no different than Arky or Ole Miss raiding LA. Bottom line I was TRYING (and failed miserably ) to get across was that there is probably more talent to draw from in our area than yours. That's it.

Point #2-money. I realize I exaggerated with the WAY part. But as a UGA poster above pointed out and what I had in mind, is that UGA has been the most profitable athletic department in the COUNTRY recently. All I meant was that, whether we flaunt it or not, we have incredibly deep pockets, and if need be we'll open the F out of the checkbook.

There, I showed my face again and hopefully cleared some things up. Sorry for the miscommunication guys.

Good thing that:

1) Chavis doesn't coach QBs and
2) Cox graduates this year

To understand LSU recruiting, besides having carte blanche in talent-rich Louisiana you might want to google the words HOUSTON, TEXAS and start reading.
