Look at his track record on the players he produces and championships
High School is a different beast because on most teams, the majority of the players won’t sniff a field after High School.
Idk if it’s a good coach or not, but I’m not going to use their record and player signings as a key indicator of being a good coach. Overall, I think he’s just trying to butter up Brown so he doesn’t send kids elsewhere out of spite.

Why would he take that job? Effectively stop coaching….no thanks.
More money, less work? Yeah who would do that

He would make a lot more money even if he just recruits. It would be a no brainer for him. If given the opportunity I would imagine he would jump

I don’t think Brown is leaving Karr. Lane just kissing up to him, which he should be. Glad Lane recognizes that dynamic of LA recruiting and is addressing it.

You can't be serious. He will leap at the opportunity to join LSU. Way more money even if a lesser role into recruiting. He'd also have an opportunity to elevate himself to one day maybe get a bigger coach role somewhere including LSU. This is big leagues. Very rarely anyone is going to turn that opportunity down. It's win win on money and elevating your career.

ASH homer here as well. That was a hard game to watch after such an amazing season.
Yes it was. Both my boys got to start on that team. One was linebacker and other tight end. Last name Townsend. You might know them. The younger one is still playing and is a junior this year. If he could beef up he could have a shot at playing at the next level maybe but he’s got a lot of beefing to do.

These coaches are con artists. They are letting Lane know now that if he wants those players, the money bags better keep flowing to them (the coaches).

When Saban was here and Frank was at OP Walker, Saban paid Frank well to work his football camps, they year we got Buster Davis

Lane is simply and strategically kissing his arse.
This.
He knows he’s more important to those young men in Algiers and can have every college coach come kiss the ring.

Is he though?
In the NIL era he can have significant impact on getting not just the top of the line kids looks but also lesser known guys and get them paid.
That’s a pretty big impact

You’re such clown
He has close to FIVE TIMES more D1 signees compared to the next team, Catholic high, over the last 10 years
That is insane . He would bring absolutely ZERO to lsu in terms of on field coaching

I think Brown is very focused on being the best role model he can be and focused on getting kids away from the riskier types of lifestyle. Its admirable.
It's like he has found his calling. I think it would be great to get him but I also think having him as an ally as Karr's coach would be just as impactful.

I’d rather him stay at Karr and work for Kiffin.
frick no that sounds like favoritism. I don’t want everyone’s best players being told to go there
This is competition at the end of the day and a lot of us have to compete against them

What is his certain position that he would coach??

I’m not sold on him being a great coach but he could prob recruit Nola well.

I never once said anything about him coming to LSU
But you saying he’s a ‘TERRIBLE’ coach, while having the resume he has is absurd.

Everyone needs to read the book about Karr and Brice
Hrs a great offensive coach. Great play designer. He can relate to his players. Not sure it translates to major college ball.
