Hmm, from what I have seen, people have REEEEEALLYYYYY talked themselves into Campbell. Did you guys miss the 5 threads about how recruiting doesn't matter and isn't a skill that were posted during the short period where it looked like Campbell was a front runner? Or the threads where people repeatedly compared his record pre-LSU to Saban's?


I personally think Campbell would be meh. I think he would be fine, that he'd be very unlikely to be a disaster, but that he'd have a low ceiling. For me, the LSU HC should be someone with a national championship ceiling--even if they have a slightly higher disaster potential. That's why i think Campbell would be a 'meh' hire. But i think this board believes he is the second coming.

Napier might be divisive at first, but fans would jump on board after the press conference. Especially after he locks down the recruiting class.

I would put Jimbo better than “terrible hire”
