This is the Aggie philosophy...even if it fails, because of obscene amounts of money involved....it is a success

That’s the way they think. If it ain’t working just throw more money at it.

Wrong. Democrats believe in throwing other people’s money at issues.

He was on McElroy and Cubelic and said 0% Jimbo is getting fired and it’s quite the opposite of what people think

He said, not only is he not getting fired, but donors have opened the checkbook to give him any amount to go get what he needs to fix this.

Said they know they are married to the contract and Jimbo won’t be going anywhere for at least two more years

Let’s lol at Aggy

Gonna be hilarious when Jimbo says "frick it" in the next two years and retires.

I think Jimbo could easily turn it around if he stops being so stubborn and hires a play caller. There's a lot of talent on that team

LSU fans had similar thoughts about Les Miles for several years. Guess what? Les NEVER gave up control of the offensive approach. Even after he was literally carried off the field in his “final game” where everyone assumed he was fired because of his refusal to change his offense.

Jimbo has been a play caller his entire career. He’s leveraged himself into FU contract. He’s not giving up his “OC” duties unless A&M forces him by paying him $85M to do so

If jimbo hires a garrett riley i could see a&m turning it around.

This off-season is going to be very interesting.

Kige that.

This is the most dangerous part of giving anyone that kind of financial commitment.

Not gonna work.

CEO coaches unless they're very smart don't ever sustain because hiring elite coordinators is not an exact science.

For every hit like Joe Brady, there's a massive whiff like Peetz.

Let's say Jimbo does hire a great coordinator and DOES give up playcalling, which is a big if, as soon as the OC has some success they're gone.

So Jimbo is really going to hire an OC and let him run the offense. Damn that means that he's getting paid to do absolutely nothing

Let’s say in an A&M dream world he does this. Then in a year or two Riley gets a HC gig and then what? They’re right back to where they are now.

So he is confirming that they are using the NIL illegally as a recruiting tool to pay kids to come there? Interesting.

Which seems like the big fix right there.

Orgeron was being paid handsomely to do absolutely nothing but recruit. Had he just stuck to that role he'd likely still be the HC at LSU. Instead, he decided that with Aranda out of the way he was finally going to unleash his fan-fiction combination 90's Miami/00's USC defense on the college football world. The results spoke for themselves.

Good coaches take a look at themselves in the mirror and have to ability to say what I an doing is not working, and make a change. Saban has been tremendous at evolving over the last 15 years. On the flip-side you get stubborn asses like Jimbo and Miles who REFUSE to accept they are the problem and continue bang their heads into a brick wall to do what they want to do until someone finally shows them the door.

One way to solve inflation is just mass burning of dollar bills.

Glad to see TAMU doing their part
