I hate this for LSU but I’m happy for him. Hope he’s successful.

I’m happy for him, but let’s move this along. LSU has recruits that need clarity and DCs to start vetting.

I would like to think they started reaching out to people knowing this was a possibility.

I'd think that LSU would have already started this process before today.

I truly believe LSU would win a natty with Lane and Baker. Big loss if it comes to fruition.

Baker hasn't stopped a dual threat QB yet.

There are many other good DCs. Let’s not act like Baker’s defense doesn’t have some holes

Lane took Baker’s defense back to 3rd grade

They should be one of our out of conference games going forward instead of playing some others.
Would be nice to renew the rivalry and it would also be competitive

I have Tulane friends and neighbors, my phone blew up today.

They seem certain it's a done deal.

LSU won’t honor the last home game in New Orleans. Tulane doesn’t need to play yall in Baton Rouge. We can find other teams willing to play home and home with.

agree.

Disagree. Lane struggled to get a first down in the first quarter. Offense was completely inept that game and it led to tired defense. Lane did make adjustments but Lane is an offensive genius.

Time for Fritz's DC, Shiel Wood, to come to LSU. He is the DC at Texas Tech.
He is originally from South Carolina.

Dude, LSU isn't playing in a 30k seat stadium.

Could play in the dome but no one would give a shite after the first couple of games. Just like the last time we tried to do this.

Yup. Defense was on the field way too much almost every game.

So we don’t need to play each other. Agreed. Tulane does not need to play LSU nor play all games at LSU. Wish this subject would just stop being brought up.
