Another theory

As logical as it sounds that Ensminger is the man going forward based on general silence from sauces, or sauces pushing false candidates as a smoke screen, I suppose there is the opposite possibility.
Perhaps this is a quietly, well-hidden coaching interview-to-hire process. Granted it took essentially no time at all, but we had a new O-line coach immediately and without drama when Grimes left. That was professional as hell. If we already knew Canada were out months ago, surely even O had a couple backup names past Ensminger. I know his comments are disconcerting.
But I suggest we stop assuming it’s ensminger and wait for at least confirmation. Otherwise, we have the same redundant threads. And any new thread with legitimate information will easily get lost in the bullshite.

Any other names that have been brought up are strictly conjecture....perhaps false info leaked to try to make it seem as they are doing their due diligence. But this has been done.

I’m sticking with my “if it is Ensminger” disclaimer until LSU announces that it is. There’s a ton of smoke and history of incompetence, but hopefully they’re actually doing what’s best.
Honestly I can’t see a downside to LSU issuing a presser that it will not be Ensminger even if they don’t know who it is yet.

I've been wanting to think this but it's a very hard task with the people we have running this. We have Bill Nye the Science Guy as AD...still can't wrap my head around that

I agree most of the threads on this board are asinine, but this is an opinion forum after all and folks are entitled to their own. Even if they are forming their own (likely misinformed) conjecture.

Most people (maybe not here on TD) are willing to wait a little bit for a hiring announcement.
The offseason has only been here for 7 days... 7!
We've already staved off A&M and locked up Aranda for four years and bought out Canada. This is a very important hire and if they are using this time to interview/vet candidates then I'm all for it.
Because of how the OL coach was announced (right after Grimes left), that makes me think they are waiting for somebody to finish their season. Or at least I hope.

There are only about 20 guys that O could have interviewed. In each and every case those guys have fan bases and media guys with sources that would have reported that XYZ has been interviewed
None of that has leaked out. Not even on one of those caliber OCs?
Now if you're talking about Ed interviewing the WR coach for the Patriots, and no one knows. Well that's because the WR coach for the Patriots isn't one of the top OCs in the business, as we were led to believe was the plan Alleva agreed to in hiring O
