I’m sure many would. All depends on how good a coach is and how big a program the AM is.
The idea that a coach is somehow unrelentingly loyal to a mediocre AM is kind of funny to me.

That picture he looks like Will wade

He is staying at ASU.
I think in his situation there are a handful of jobs that he’d leave for and LSU is one of those jobs.

I would not be mad about this.

He is young enough to understand ASU has a much easier path to the playoff (and possible title) than an SEC school.
ASU has money, lots of it, and are learning the game. He could build something there.
And uh, Tempe is just a bit nicer than BR.

The Devils have struggled a little bit this year because their star quarterback has been injured half the season…but trust me, this guy has the goods.
Concerning. I know I'm being ridiculously picky, but seems like some offensive coaches can overcome QB changes whether injury related or benching needing.
I'm sure I am wrong on this and there is still a lot of season left for them. Interested to see how that goes.

It's a lot nicer. Plus, the women or "scenery" on campus is Top 5 nationally.

It depends on his mindset. He has always wanted to be the HDIC at Arizona State. It's his alma mater. He may be the type that never wants to spurn what was good to him before.

He’d be a home run hire in a lot of ways. Gives me Jay Johnson vibes to be honest, although I’m not trying to say he’d have that level of success early. Only problem is getting him out of his alma mater where he can probably make the playoffs easier in that conference. Would be a great hire though.

I caught a 9 month assignment in southern AZ, Sierra Vista, and went to an ASU game in September. Love going to other stadiums/non LSU games so I can enjoy and take everything in.
Every heterosexual man on this planet owes it to himself to go to a game out there. I've never seen anything like it

I won't consider resumes of people like that who switch companies every 1-2 years. Just sayin'.
A. It's football, not whatever gay corporate world you work in.
B. You stay at one place and get maybe a 3% raise every year or change jobs/fields every couple of years and get way more.

A successful person is rarely satisfied accomplishing one goal.
A successful and reasonable person is not going to turn down life changing money and a life changing opportunity for the sole reason of familiarity with a home town. The guy can always go back to visit.

If you goes this route, I would go with Coach Drink instead. Done a great job at a shite job in Mizzou. Safer bet IMO.

I agree. And not sure how you’re referencing ASU here, if at all, but they made the playoffs before lsu did.
