I asked a prominent "LSU Booster" last night if he knew who was going to be hired. He told me he didn't. So, I asked him a different question.

Who do you think LSU will hire?

His answer was that maybe, just maybe the hiring would occur in sync with an NFL coach fulfilling his current duties. Never burn the NFL bridge.

If true, Brady may be a primary target. Time will tell.

If anyone might know, he is one of the few who would. Time will tell.

If we’re going after an NFL coach, I think it would be Rhule, not Brady.

Brady has basically 1 year of college coaching experience. I find it highly unlikely any elite school is handing him the keys.

He has a much better chance at landing a NFL HC job than he does a college HC job. And his chances of landing an NFL HC job are falling as well.

I am a "LSU Booster" and can tell you to cross Brady off your list. The only way he ends up here is if we get a lot of doors slammed in our face. He does not like to recruit. That's not his game. We're not going to bring someone to LSU who does not like to recruit.

There is a HC currently in Jacksonville, FL whose team is 1-5, and who is finding out he probably isn't a good fit in the NFL. That guy also happens to be one of 4 HC's alive with 3 national championships to his name.

There was once a national championship winning coach who gave the NFL a try before quickly realizing it wasn't for him and returning to college. I don't think anyone at his current school is unhappy with his results since that return. Maybe LSU can turn the same trick?

Brady was a one-year college coach - a co-offensive coordinator with zero HC experience, plus only has two years in the NFL as an O coordinator. Woodward isn’t gambling on that. LSU’s new coach will have HC experience at the college level. Look at Woodward’s last two hires…Petersen and Fisher.

Brady has a better chance of being fired from his current job, than he does at being the LSU coach.

If there’s an NFL guy showing interest, probably Meyer or Rhule. Either would be grand slam homers.

Unfortunately, neither is likely.

Wondering, does the butt plug incident matter to our fans?

I'm torn, on one hand I dont care where he puts his thumb. On the other hand, I dont want a guy that is maybe low character running the program.

The possible infidelity and Hernandez stuff seems like maybe he should go stuff it.

That would make me think that Urban Meyer is the target.

Meyer or Rhule would be more likely than Brady. Brady is not qualified to run the LSU program.

LSU is going to hire a guy that is about to get his duties limited at his current job. That would be an utter fail.

I've said it before, I don't like Meyer, but I don't care if his head was 3 inches deep in her arse. He wins championships in college football, and him at LSU with Saban nearing the end of his career? I'll take it. No questions asked.
