First off, I don't think boosters know much at all as to what Woodward is doing or thinking right now. He is playing things close to the chest and doesn't need boosters getting out there running their mouth or trying to influence. Woodward wants to stay away from being like U of Texas where boosters are monkeying around in the process too much.
However if Woodward has in some way provided hints to a booster or 2 about a current NFL coach, it wouldn't be Brady he is talking about. It would be Rhule.
Brady has no HC experience but Rhule does and was very successful with it.

Brady's name coming up over and over is laughable.
No head coaching experience.
No basis of him even wanting college football
No idea if he would be a good recruiter.
Not really doing well as a OC.
You get the idea.

Brady has basically 1 year of college coaching experience. I find it highly unlikely any elite school is handing him the keys.

If anyone might know, he is one of the few who would. Time will tell.
So, he knows as much as the rest of us and this post was not needed.

My feel on Urban loving here in the Jacksonville area is that he will retire when he is done with the Jags. I really do feel he is a family man and that he just has a side of his personality that makes him do some really bad things on a consistent basis. If he leaves he will do everything he can to salvage his family life. He would not do another move to BR after being here. His wife is just getting comfortable here.

His answer was that maybe, just maybe the hiring would occur in sync with an NFL coach fulfilling his current duties.
This makes me think of Urban Meyer before Joe Fricking Brady.

Have y’all ever seen coaching changes season? On October 28th, even our new coach doesn’t know he’ll be our new coach. Handshake deals mean shite. So many things can happen right up until the last minute. Hell, we’ve even seen a couple coaches accept a job, hold the announcement press conference, and still change their mind and go back where they were. Somebody may know who Woodward wants to be the hire, but nobody knows anything yet.

No. here's why. Brady doesn't have the significant connections at the college level to staff a team. Look no further than Peetz as his recommendation for LSU. One year as a position coach in college will not help him find recruiters or coaches who can win immediately.
Also, Brady's "system" requires elite level talent to work. It looks impressive on paper, and Heisman winner Burrow made it look easy, but now it doesn't look so good. He is close to getting fired. Also, look no further than Peetz to verify. He doesn't have the elite QB to make that system work.
Finally, this is Woodward's statement hire. Even moreso than A&M, because of Scott's roots and future goals in B.R. Hiring a first-time or G5 coach spells f-a-i-l-u-r-e, and speaks to everyone that he simply couldn't get his job done.

If Cincy makes the cfb playoffs then it will be January. If Cincy doesn’t make the playoffs then it will be 72 hours after the cfb playoff selection show.
