why is Pruitt interviewing people? Doesn't he have an old friend currently on his staff he can just promote? He's handling this whole thing very strangely.

Don't get me started.
There are plenty of reasons to dislike Schiano as the HC. I love what he did for Rutgers, but he was not a perfect coach.
What Tennessee did to Schiano, however, is a disgrace. You can bail on the deal without throwing up unfounded nonsense allegations that were proven utterly false.
