I just finished this one recently. I'm not usually one to binge series so I took a break and will get back to the next one soon. Every one but the first one has been great so far in my opinion.

Was absolutely glued to it and instantly become one of my all time favorite fiction books. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did (assuming you haven't read it). Cathy is a character that is seared into my memory.

It was my first time reading it and I thought it was incredible. Finished it up today and it will be on my mind for weeks.

I feel the same way about Cathy. My hatred for her was only balanced out by my love of Lee. He is now one of my favorite literary characters.

Just finished The Passenger. Not a huge fan of McCarthy’s writing style so not sure if I’ll pick up Stella Maris.
Moving on to A man called Ove.

In the Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson. Just finished Devil in the White City by Larson -great read. He also wrote Isaac’s Storm- great non fiction books.

It’s crazy how it all shakes out… for example… that book is really good.. heartbreaking.. and then you read Eric Jay dolins history of hurricanes and this storm in particular gets like 2 sentences of mention and you wouldn’t think much of it if you didn’t know the history of it
