Nice. Currently he is kind of got a North Louisiana slightly country accent. Wax has the same thing but just slightly deeper

I breezed through five Murderbot Diaries books after finishing The Count of Monte Cristo. Taking a break from those and starting Wool. I’m tired of waiting for the apple series to give me answers.

Excellent book about the shite show that was Viet Nam.

Wool was good, but having watched the show it was too similar and lost any suspense. Enjoying Shift much more.

I’ve got like 45 minutes left on the audiobook . Really good. Hard to listen to at times describing the carnage

But I learned quite a bit . I didn’t realize there were multiple big bombings in Beirut. The embassy and the barracks. I thought that was one event.


But I look forward to his other nonfiction books coming on the subject of terrorism
