East Baton Rouge Parish Library Recycled Reads sale. I know most are used, but some seem to be new. Anyway, $1 or so for a hardback...
Thrift stores. An occasional find of something old, out of print, and interesting that I've yet to read.
Library card and B&N.
So I guess everything except the Kindle.

Mostly kindle, but I miss actual books. My problem is space and limited use of one of my hands.

I got a B&N nook when they first came out I was still working on a tug boat then ad tired of lugging a shopping bag full of paper backs to work and only coming home with half of them. I aint looked back my nook has 260 books in it lots of them only available as ebooks and it fits in my back pocket

I use the nook app on either my phone or a tablet.
It's self lit and I can change the font size so I don't have to wear my glasses.

I am at the age that I appreciate the font size adjust too. also linked table of contents is haandy as well Specially for thick books like the bible.

I've had the Kindle Paperwhite for 7 years now and love it. Still a long battery life and the back light and adjustable font is easy on the eyes.

Kindle Paperwhite.
If I love a book I will buy it for my bookshelf incase a massive emp resets society and Amazon implodes on itself , etc....
But I do love my kindle paperwhite.

Tried Kindle, but I eventually found my way back to print books.

I was buying through B&N and Amazon and then I discovered Thriftbooks.
Then I rediscovered the convenience of the Library Card. I plan it out so that I always have 2-3 books in my posession to read.

3. If they don't have it, buy used off of Amazon or ebay.
I prefer hardbacks for many reasons but sometimes a paperback just has to do. I've tried e-readers but I don't like it. I like the feel of a book in my hand, turning the pages, using a book mark to measure my progress. I'll continue to read physical books as long as they print them.

I love real paperback books, but have realized if I download to kindle app on my phone i'll reach much more and more often. I still have a few paperbacks I take on flights and stuff though

If it's a book I expect to enjoy, I'll grab it on paperback. I enjoy doing re-read of the same fiction books every few years. I still really enjoy the tactile feedback of feeling the pages turn. Reading these stories over again is an experience for me more than just passing boredom. I can pick up one of my old favorites like the Halo books or X-Wing series, close my eyes, and just relive the memories of the first read in the pages.
Newer books, or books that are reference materials I am perfectly happy reading on my tablet with nook app.

All of the above. I like real books. I like the convenience of Kindle. I don’t like the prices on new books or ebooks. Library and used books good options. Books A Million has good sales. We have a Half Price Books store here in Mansfield; not too shabby.

Usually cruise the Goodwill stores for some hand-me-downs, never know what you're gonna find there. Picked up quite a few really nice hardcovers over the years for the price of dirt.

My big chunks of reading time seem to be sitting on airplanes.
I have a pretty big queue of paper books that I'll get to who-knows-when. Picked up lots of good books cheap at library sales when I lived in OH. Plenty of libraries up there, and it seemed one was having a book sale every other month.
I'm still a sucker for picking up something at B&N and I usually get something at an indie store if I come across one when I'm traveling. Hard to make progress on the book pile!

Probably 9 out of 10 books I read now are on Kindle.I like physical books but I don’t have room for anymore.I get an email every day from this thing called BookBub,they’ll have around 5 books everyday on sale at Amazon-usually they’re $1.99.Most of them I’m not interested in but once in awhile there’s a good one.Interesting one I’m reading now is “Bad Land” by Jonathan Rabin,got it on BookBub.
