Maybe you knew this, but I didn't. With all the goal line replays over the years, last night's was the closest to getting in the end zone and we know this because the NFL has a chip in the football apparently...?

It does not say anything about this play being the closest to getting in the endzone

That Bills opening play kick-off return is like a page out of a fairytale!

Why don't they just say 22 inches instead of 0.6 yards? i guess it doesn't sound as dramatic or close.

as for the chips, they'd have to have chips along the entire surface of the ball, because you don't know what part of the ball will be facing the goal line.

it's moronic to stretch the ball like that, particularly in traffic, unless it's 4th down. The risk of a fumble, as we saw, is high. It shocks me that players continue to do this, and coaches don't forbid it.

And you don't leave it hanging out there. You stretch it out quick, and then pull it back, like Drew Knees used to do it.
