I can honestly say I haven't watched a single play in the NFL since 2019. I never thought I would say such a thing, but they forced my hand. Honestly, don't even miss it.

The same here. Right now if someone had a gun to my head and told me to state the Saints record this season, who were the best teams or players this season and if I couldn't provide correct answers, I would be shot. I would inform them to pull the trigger as I have ZERO clue

What exactly did Gruden say that was wrong again? Everything I just read was arguably correct. Goodell sucks, Sams was awful, and female refs aren’t very good. It’s not Gruden’s fault that Smith looks the way he does. The Raiders used to be badasses but just showed they are woke crybabies like every other team.

yeah, well phuck the NFL and their BLM arse kissing ways. i hope more people quit watching and paying for tickets to that shite show. i agree fully with Jon Gruden's comments as their is/was the First Amendment which is/was a civil right.

S2 - the first amendment prohibits the government from restricting freedom of speech.

And there also used to be a healthy public respect for freedom of speech. That has disappeared by the wayside.

Will never happen

Gruden should have a statue made in his honor with a placard that says "Last participant in the NFL with any balls!" I hope he never apologizes. Nothing he said was wrong. He is allowed to have an opinion/view on things. If only there was a place where you could speak freely, say what you want, how you wanted to say it, and be protected by a constitutional right... oh, wait...

Gruden should hunt his leaker down since he has nothing to lose now and his private emails were released. Also, don’t write shite down unless you would have it on the front of a newspaper. Dumb move by him. Think it but don’t ink it.

As we all can see and have already seen, this is just the tip of the iceberg in regards to this cancel culture, end of career, etc... stuff. We all better check our past social media history. God forbid you said what would be considered innocent 10 or so tears ago, could come back to bite you, ruin your career and life. All it takes is someone jealous or has an axe to grind with you to take a screen shot and share publicly with your employer, etc... and then you are in $hit storm. Think of all what your/our young kids said or have said on social media in the past. It will most likely come back to hurt them as most employers screen job applicant's social media prior to hiring them now. Social media is adored and a large part of alot of lives, but it could lead to many complications along the way - be careful or commence to scrubbing your past activity if it isn't already too late.

God forbid some mean words are uttered in a game where 300 lb behemoths line up to cripple each other. Honk.

Hell, Gruden is an American hero, but he is being destroyed because he doesn't conform to the Left's political correctness. Thus, unfortunately Gruden is another victim of the Left's cancel culture.

This isn't a one little retweet accident Gruden did. This is years of racial email, sending nudes of cheerleaders, homophobic slurs. Like there's a lot happening. If you're taking up for that, you're an idiot. When you work for a league full of different races, you can't be out there spouting racial things.
