The "In Memorian" part of the show was pathetic. It was more about the singing act than the people they were memorializing. All Disney/ESPN could muster to put up on the screens were simply pictures of those who passed, without even a mention of who they were (no captions of their name under the pic, no mention of anything). Shame on them for that display.
Bring on the down votes - I don't give a crap. But, based on some of the characters in the HOF, I would think Jimmy Buffett would have a seat somewhere in there.

NASCAR - What happened to you?

NASCAR - The Clash Will Be Trash

Just read this sad article. NASCAR has definitely lost its way. Earnhardt must be flipping in his grave... From #1 in this article to all the rest of the list mentioning all the convoluted rules, racing formats, etc... And they wonder why there is an attendance and sponsor problem. SMH.

Have connected up to four of these to each other around our pool to give a surround sound environment- dropped them in the water, etc... Obviously very waterproof and provide great sound and awesome battery life for bluetooth!

Liz C. could deserve some attention on a cold winter's night. But, on a partisan standpoint, (as far as "Milfs" go), I'd rather "bump" these two TRUE Republican-women to the top of the line as rewarding of the "MILF" label.

Could you keep your politics out of my entertainment? Thank you sir.

Sure, if Garth could keep the politics out of his public endorsements and picking who he chooses and "not chooses after official invitation" to play for certain US President's inaugural celebrations. By doing so, he makes himself fair game. Sorry, not sorry.
For those attending, please start an "F Joe B." chant or the "Brandon" chant - would love to see/hear how ole Garth reacts to thousands chanting it for his favorite boy...
Those Indians were smart in that scene from "1883". If one of them Indians would have heckled or sent a boo toward Mcgraw's way, he would have squared up on them, called them out and never gave them their burial or that steer.

Or just base it on applicants? If the applications are 40% white, 30% black, 20% Asian and 10% Hispanic/other, that should be the makeup of the house.

I agree LSUGumbo. Anything would be less obvious as the way CBS handled it here. I just can't wrap my mind around that if the "color was on the other skin" and the obvious "publicly" and "nationally broadcast" revealed strategy the CO is employing would have been perpetrated the other way around, there would have been alot more outcry from the media, production would have undoubtedly stepped in, etc... I hope CBS has negative ramifications for this. If there is any overwhelming negative feedback, I'm sure it will probably be swept under the carpet and defensively unacknowledged by the network.
If they want to stack this "reality" show casting or anything similar, how about using valid statitics for our country's population and not base it on other agendas? According to current population statitics, the breakdown is as follows:

White: 60.1% (Non-Hispanic)
Hispanic: 18.5%
Black: 12.2%
Asian: 5.6%
Multiple Races: 2.8%
American Indian/Alaska Native: 0.7%
Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander: 0.2%

Why stack it in any particular category? Hmmmm... I can only guess the usual corporate BS, sponsors, political agendas, etc...

FYI - take a look at the upcoming CBS Survivor cast. I hate to say it and I hope I'm wrong. But, based on the participants casted, it might be wash, rinse and repeat of this Big Brother season and what has occurred so far.

Amen to that, brother. I'll take a Magnalite/cast iron pot full of stuffed, pot roasted wood ducks over other birds any day!

Look 2 posts above yours

I just edited my post. Apparently you submitted yours first as I was typing mine - I was unaware you had posted about the movie.
How dare me, thanks, one of the best movies of its genre I have ever seen- of course "Blackhawk Down". It may be labeled as less about a "war", but more of a battle against terrorism.

ETA: - Then again, one has to admit that the battle against terrorism is an "everlasting war" which includes many ongoing battles. I agree with you that this movie deserves its place there.
One dark horse movie about Vietnam I rarely see on any list and I'd put in my Top 10 (because other less critical war movies of its type at that time) - "The Boys in Company C" . I see it rarely mentioned (if not all) and get any love on here. It stars the same infamous drill Seargent from "Full Metal Jacket". Maybe because I saw it at such a young age (yes I'm old) and influenced my opinions of future similar type movie viewings over the years. Anyhow...

ETA: Thanks Gatorbait2008 - you and I must have been typing our post at the same time, lol.
Them Brokeback Mountain cowboys on the front row will cry if Edge loses.
WWE stock looking bad for tomorrow because of this. Been having issues since it went to Peacock. NBC has some blame in this as well.

Do you have any free days? I can point you in the direction of some cool stuff if you do.

Duke - yes, we have one free day on Wednesday that we just decided to hang around the condo, booked a short 1.5 hour "historical" cruise on the lake in Dillon, etc... Would appreciate any ideas you can contribute! Thanks.
