yea, slave auction. He'll sign a 4-year deal worth $7.8 million, of which $2.66 is a signing bonus. Of course he's free to walk away.

If he needs motivation to play his best while being paid tons of money then those teams probably made the right decision.

The more likely scenario is he is just very subdued and his personality/work ethic will mesh well with Patriots.
