Drink/Mizzou is like every other team on the edge of breaking through. You need that QB who comes alive at the right time. Ole Miss is proof. They had no idea Chambliss was going to be so good. Hell, Simmons won the starting job over him as a Freshman. But when they needed Chambliss, he excelled. If Simmons plays at that level, this season gets interesting really fast. The Ole Miss game will be huge.
Look Jordon screwed the pooch 2 seasons ago with 2 really bad drops. But he is much more physical, quicker out of his breaks and has a much more solid build. I like this kid.

Sterling Webb will play this year. That helps.

Im optimistic he can pull a Brian Robinson type recovery. That dude got shot twice.

The way I read it...Hardy is thick in the thighs, hammies and glutes. He got shot in the glute and couldn't participate in weight lifting and now 1 butt cheek is a little smaller than the other. Give it 6 weeks of squats and lunges and the glute will pop right out. Or at least I hope so.

Mizzou hasn't had remarkable QB play for a long time. We have had gritty above average for Mizzou QBs but not real top level QB play. If Simmons really comes of age at Mizzou, the offense may be good enough to catch UGA or UT. A&M I think is a loss no matter what Simmons does
But Auburn doesn't care because they still have 4 Star RB, Myson Johnson-Cook. Kid is huge and runs a 10.3 100.

Drink and coaches doing a good job defending the homegrown talent.
Don't sleep on the Houston Christian transfer. Kid showed some heart vs Nebraska last year.

Looks like he's returning to Columbia today. Hopefully he makes a Brian Robinson type of recovery.

I don't agree. Zion developed at Mizzou. Mizzou has a long history of DL development. Same with McClellan. Mizzou also produces LBs so Trotter is no abnormality. Pride and Coleman thought they were too big for Mizzou, but came back home. Really Trost was the only "rental" out of the group.

If Zollers leaves it would be a HUGE mistake. He didn't show nearly enough for a decent program to consider him a starter. So he would be still a backup. Drink likes him, keep developing, Simmons could turnout to be injury prone.
Sometimes a phrase or something gets flagged. If I should review it, it comes on my screen in red letters and I can block, or accept. (Like if someone posts the word fa*.) But Locking a post is beyond me. That means whatever the algorithm found, it locked the entire subject without review from local mods.
No I didn't. Someone must have posted something that violated the rules, and got flagged to Chicken. I don't even have the power to Lock. That came from Mount High.

Any word on how the other transfer QB did in the Spring? I've seen nothing.
Is the author of this article going to pay us the difference in the payout SEC vs Big 12? Money talks bitch.
