Leaking a kid’s HS grades crosses the Mendoza Line in this case.

good lord, it certainly IS a real number if Mendoza took a lot of AP classes. You get an extra point boost for an A. I guess you never took AP classes.

It is. An "A" in a(n) honors/AP/gifted course is not the same as an A in a regular class. It's much more difficult, and it should be reflected in the GPA.

I was a borderline genius and got mostly Bs in AP classes, they are tough

Could be worse. Could be a video of him hitting a bong leaking right before the draft.

What he left out is that Christopher Columbus High School averages around a 3.5 GPA, and at nearly $20,000 a year, maintaining a high GPA is expected, hell, it is required!

So he is more intelligent than Sander's kid. I never would have believed it without facts before me

But, did he go to Marksville High?

Which means he may or may not be a Sunday starter.

His dad is an ER doctor so this isn’t surprising at all

Fernando also graduated from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business in three years (finishing up over the last summer) before transferring to Indiana to enter grad school. The dude is driven. He is a winner in life, not just football.
user avatar
But does he sway side to side and look braindead in interviews?

If 4.0 is straight A's...WTF is a 4.7?

It's the bullsh*t weighted classes that were created to boost the GPAs of students by saying that some A's were worth more than others in the same course of study.
I'm with you - anything above a 4.0 smells suspiciously like BS.

Well they only go to 4.0 so congrats on the extra classes I guess
user avatar
Dumb take. Most places in the country offering advanced level classes (Honors, AP, Dual credit) have weighted GPA on a 5 point scale.

Looks like we all know now who DIDN'T take advanced classes.
