Hince is this UGA or SEC related?
Fl. State was cancelled...right?

quote:

Georgia and Florida State announced in May they had mutually agreed to cancel home-and-home games for 2027 and 2028 and would work to play a neutral site game.
That is focused on a game in 2028. Reports last month said the schools would play that game in Nashville, but neither school has confirmed that.

Didn't really say. It did list other cancelled series.
I enjoy watching YouTube videos of non-US people watching US sports & college bands.
This is like all other polls (stadium experience, uniform design, school colors, school building design) where everybody is going to have their own rankings...with majority of them having biases.

For me, I like all of them (however, I agree with those saying Alabama's is a little too long).
Georgia Football Cancels Another Non-Conference Game

quote:

Georgia’s 2028 home game against Florida A&M is off after the schools mutually agreed to cancel the game, according to a Jan. 13 letter obtained by the Athens Banner-Herald this week in an open records request. The letter from Georgia athletic director Josh Brooks to Florida A&M athletic director John Davis detailed the cancellation terms. Brooks and Davis signed it.

Wonder how much of this is (soon to be) SEC changes.
Including lightning, hail, hurricane/tornado?

I think...regardless of geographic location...start by swapping the schedules with the two teams. In this case...

So, let's say a team in NC drops down & a team in CA moves up. You're fine with all that cross country travel?

& what if there's an annual rivalry game...is that history ended or do they keep it on their schedule?
Which is it: 2 or 3 drop down or move up?

First to 30 wins an NFL game.

Could be some pretty quick games.
Yet, again, could be some LONG games.

However, how will you handle weather delays? Do teams have to continue the next day (requiring lodging issues)?
Please give us a schedule rotation that would work around this.

I guess the ACC needs the money.

You do know 4 of those are annual in-state rivalries.
Especially when going to commercials right after airing commercials!

Wasn't CBS bad about this?
team scores
PAT
*break for commercials*
line up & kick to other team
*gotta go back to commercials*
I've heard variations from playing ONLY teams from your own conference to also including rivalry games or SEC & B1G just playing each other.

The other part of this is breaking completely away from the NCAA in just fb or all sports.
You may only once. But you're not USC, Washington, nor Oregon.
& (at least 1 of) the biggest factor of travel distance.
Hope y'all & the ACC enjoy all that cross country travelling.
I'm still confused they put UGA as a brown bulldog instead of solid white.
