Well, not much of a punishment, but that isn't a surprise.

When groups of people get used to preferential treatment, after a while, equal treatment seems like discrimination to them - Thomas Sowell (para) Our country is seeing that simple principle played out. Equality (which we should ALL be in favor of) is somehow viewed as racist, while Equity (where a 3rd party gets to be the judge of what's fair/equitable) is somehow virtuous. Equality is open freedom for all within the law. Equity is gradual enslavement. Not visible with chains, but internal, within minds.

An exchange of words, Coach Howard is grabbed (assaulted) by an opposing coach against his will and doesn't want to hold a discussion and he's the bad guy here? Typical. Had it been the other way around this would have been assault and battery and lost of his job. I'd like to here what happened to the UW coach who grabbed him first. You don't have to right to grab someone sir... Yes, Howard should have kept his cool, but Wow!

Legend has it that #34 for Wisconsin it’s still in there looking for someone to sing Varsity with him.

Do you know how many times someone has grabbed my arm while talking to me. Looks like he grabbed his arm to get him to stop a second to understand what he was saying. Nothing out of the ordinary.

LOL... that's tell us a lot about you mcspufftiger7, no one should grab another person against their will, not even someone you are familiar with. Get real, this is certainly out of the ordinary...

I second that motion Magazine St, we live in a country where we are outnumbered by racist who will always be biased in their thinking.

Juwanna man is a clown. He should be an advisor to Goodell to promote cultural understanding.

Opposing assistant coach made first contact. Doesn't make it right, but Howard is still thinking like a player, not a coach. The thinking like a coach thing may not be necessary anymore, after the penalties come down.

He said "I'll remember that shit" not "I'll remember that" so get your facts straight. That's a big differnce.

100% of this is on Howard. He started the petty "I'll remember that ..." and then when the opposing coach places a hand on his arm and is like "Wait, what?" Howard took that as some sort of aggression. I'm pretty sure a hand on an arm is somewhat expected in a HANDSHAKE LINE. Hands to the face as response, however, is not expected. Howard initiated verbal confrontation and then escalated to physical altercation. At pretty much any workplace, he would be fired. It will be interesting to see how Michigan handles this with a beloved former player like Juwan here.

Let’s be honest, he won’t be fired simply because of the color his skin. We’ve gone from subconscious white privilege to outright black privilege. Meritocracy and equality be damned.

Wrong Sean LSU and GeauxLSUGeaux... the UW coach is wrong for grabbing a grown man and playing the victim. Typical tactic of provoking a situation. Get real you two you don't grab anyone against their will.

Hey Allen, the coach who tapped his arm wasn’t even the one he punched. You’re a fricking idiot.

Howard was stupid to hit the guy, but if the Wisconsin coach never grabbed Howard's arm there wouldn't have been an altercation.

Sorry but Howard wanted a reaction. He went through the handshake line just so he could talk shite and try and walk away.
