re: Missouri state beat Missouri 11-1

Missouri State baseball is not as good
as they once were but over the last 20+ years have been a superior program all around

And they don't play in a dump.
Private Bone Spurs the felon wouldn't know what true constitutional conservatism is if it hit him broadside in the nuts and apparently neither does the MAGA Cult..... promoting a storming of the Capitol with a lie about a rigged election (Charlie Kirk was a big cheerleader) ? ..... His train wreck of appointees taking a loyalty oath to him rather than the country ? .... Cozying up to Russia's brutal dictator , while pushing our allies aside and cutting the legs out from under Ukraine , a nation fighting against tyranny and for its freedom ?....taking a robust economy and busting it into pieces ? Referring to fallen American soldiers in
France as "suckers" ? And through it all , lie and deny , deny and lie.
****Apologies for a political post on this board but the MAGA Cult seems to be given great flexibility , so.*****

You left out his mounting Miranda Lambert.

Yeah I forgot that little indiscretion . Never works well if
you're still married.

Turnpike Troubadours

One of the best country/Red Dirt/Honky Tonk bands in the land.
They had to shut down from 2018 to 2022 when a founding member
and lead singer Evan Felker went on a three-year drunk.
Felker isolated himself on a ranch as a cowboy , quit sucking on the bottle ,
remarried his wife who had divorced him and the band cranked up
again.
love the lyrics in this one
I guess it was one of those "you would had to have been there"
things , but watching Pete Maravich set a most points scored in a single
game record of 69 in Tuscaloosa in 1970 .... and still lose
the game 106 to 104. The guy was the definition of a scoring
machine but of course he had the green light to shoot and
shoot often. A six foot five string bean all over the court. The general consensus was that record would never be broken.
It took 21 years ......but it was.

re: Is Nico playing volleyball now?

No , while it can't yet be verified , rumor has it he's
a male dancer for tips in Tijuana , Mexico. Opening act for the
donkey show.

I don't believe every coach at every school is going to stand with Tennessee on this

Perhaps not but it would be an interesting thing if IamaleftU
can't pick up a ride with a school interested in paying another
$-million or so for a just above average QB , along with the bad vibes he brings with his agents
and Daddy Nic yelling at everybody.
No Tennessee business in their right mind would want this
guy pushing their place or product now. The Spyre Sports
Group in Knoxville probably already has their windows boarded over.
The day AI statements became immensely more entertaining
than the real thing.

With each passing month , it becomes more understandable
the timing of the GOAT's exit from coaching.

You guys given TN props is hilarious. They literally created some of this NIL mess.

Exactly right. I actually see this as an escape for the
Vols from Nico , the 6th best QB in the SEC , already knocking down
$2-million a year.
Happier days. Nico's first recruiting visit to Knoxville , with
Josh at the wheel of a Mercedes G-Wagon-----promise to turn over
keys to Nico if he says "yes" ?

Did I miss anything?

Yeah , the ghost of Phat Phil Fulmer still alive and well.
Four $-million down the drain for the 6th rated QB in the
SEC ? .

Now…. The only thing “collegiate” about “college” football is the name on the uniform. Players aren’t students anymore. They are paid professionals playing a sport with a university name on it.
College sports is dead.

Agreed. Colleges are now simply running minor league businesses
for the NFL , while only about one-and-a-half percent of total Division-1
athletes will have a career in the NFL. But if colleges have an
excuse to continue providing facilities and collective organizations for
salaries , it's this : About 91-percent of Division-1 athletes graduate.
Have a agreed upon salary cap for all schools and attached rules and
regulations to bring an end to the wild west.

Counting the contents of his coin jar , as he finishes
his last six-pack of Bud Light and weeping and praying to the
crushed velvet picture of Elvis on the wall to somehow keep ImaleftU .

Lead off with the team that ended your '24 season in
Ohio State ... but then handed another fluff schedule UNTIL
Georgia late this season.

Regardless , that would be a tough match for LSU.
I hear TCU's 24-year-old Sedona Prince is looking for another domestic
partner to beat up and is frustrated.
