Here was Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder casually playing the band's song "Corduroy" on Waveland Ave. outside of Wrigley Field after Saturday’s 4-1 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals...

Those people walking by had no clue, hahaha...

Eddie is the freaking man!! That brought a smile to my face after a shitty football weekend. Thanks for putting that up! Yeah and where is the rest of Courdoroy! PJ is one the great American bands, and I can't wait to hit up a show when they go back on tour. Young parents do your kids a favor and expose them to real music...the 90's Seattle band is great stuff!! Lots of legends that unfortunately we have lost much to early. Here's to EV and the PJ guys being around for a looonnnnggg time!

Don't do me like this... How are you going to give me this clip of pure gold, and then cut me off at 45 sec?!?!? Some things need to be appreciated in their entirety... so now I shall waste my Sun trying to fulfill the void by watching youtube videos of Eddie.

From what I understand, he was just passing by some street musicians after the cubs game and asked to play with them. There's another video of Ed giving the guitar back to the guy. Pretty bad ass.

Eddie puts on the best solo live show I've seen in 30 years of concert-going. I would have recognized his playing style and blown his cover.
