Four-star tight end Tayvion Galloway announced Sunday night that he has de-committed from the Tigers and reopened his recruitment.

Galloway, a 6-5, 230-pound prospect from Chillicothe, Ohio, originally committed to LSU last July.

The Tigers signed three tight ends in last year's recruiting class and currently have a commitment from 2004 TE Trey'Dez Green.

Respect this opinion Tayvion…

Seriously though, he probably made a smart decision - we’re not screwing around.

Needs to go to Clemson and do the Family thing.

He said in an interview right after de-committing that he didn't want to wear the same uniforms for 4 more years and that everyone should respect his decision to want a change in color scheme.

Hey, it’s all cool. He attached a Bible verse.

The Bible verse is the new "with all due respect..." You can't be mad at anything that comes before the Bible verse.

Someone needs to tell these kids to never say the phrase, "Please respect my decision."

It's a bat signal for trolls and ranters.

99% of the time itll be the only time most of these young fellas ever get to say that. Let them enjoy the short ride.

There's no reason to respect their decision if they're not going to respect their commitment.

It's better for a player to go ahead and de-commit now than to end up transferring later.

The level of hate and vitriol on this board for a kid still in high school trying to figure out what he wants is both sad and predictable. Sometimes I hate our fans.

I bet you teach little Johnny in your household that it's ok to back out on commitments. Fluff.

Then don't commit if you don't plan to follow through.

Fluff. Lol.

These things are moving targets at all times. People come and go in the athletic department. A new recruit comes in. A coach goes back on a promise. Whatever. Maybe the coaches told him, “Hey, we brought in another guy with more experience. It might be worth you opening your commitment back up.” Y’all know nothing about the situation.

But I’m soft because these “commitments” aren’t commitments. Lol. Y’all are soft for getting so upset about a 17 year old saying one thing and then doing another. Grown arse men with little boy minds.
