Four-star tight end Tayvion Galloway announced Sunday night that he has de-committed from the Tigers and reopened his recruitment.

Galloway, a 6-5, 230-pound prospect from Chillicothe, Ohio, originally committed to LSU last July.

The Tigers signed three tight ends in last year's recruiting class and currently have a commitment from 2004 TE Trey'Dez Green.

A great example of why I don't pay any real attention to recruiting until actual signing day

My recruitment is now open. Please respect my decision and no interviews at this time.

Why is this still a thing?

It's a thing because so many clowns can't respect a decision. These are young dudes getting pulled every which way and also it's not always their fault on why they decommit. On the interview thing, who wants to be hounded by reporters after decommiting?

Tigers have a commitment from 2004 TE?

Yes. He should bring a lot of veteran leadership even as a freshman...since he's 37 years old.

Hard to respect his decision when he himself doesn't respect it.

Best of luck to him.

Recruit insiders are saying that he's more than likely been told that he's on the bottom in the TE room. You can call it processed, but more than that, he was given enough time to find another school who wants him.

Using Jesus for cover. :casty:

No one has to respect anything. Probably afraid of competition with all the newfound TE depth

The Bible verse is the new "with all due respect..." You can't be mad at anything that comes before the Bible verse.

I hope that kid from “2004” class still has some eligibility Leo.

Someone needs to tell these kids to never say the phrase, "Please respect my decision."

It's a bat signal for trolls and ranters.

99% of the time itll be the only time most of these young fellas ever get to say that. Let them enjoy the short ride.

There's no reason to respect their decision if they're not going to respect their commitment.

This is what college sports have become. I was excited about this guy though, I do think he’s very talented.
