Former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow set a franchise record for the most passing yards in a single game in the Cincinnati Bengals 41-21 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Burrow passed for 525 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Boomer Esiason previously held the franchise record with 490 yards in an overtime game. Burrow's 525 yards was also the fourth-highest total in NFL history.

Playing for LSU is like taking the black and joining the Night’s Watch. You have no past, and your only home is Tiger Stadium.

I like Davy's take on this: "Playing for LSU is like taking the black and joining the Night’s Watch. You have no past, and your only home is Tiger Stadium." I think I'm gonna have that printed and framed for my office wall.

Burrow’s a little over 1 year out from that bad knee injury. They say it takes a year to get back to where you were. He’s just hitting his stride. Cincinnati is a legitimate Super Bowl contender with that offense.

He bounced off several tacklers and threw a spectacular td that was reviewed and reversed because the receiver dropped it after hitting the ground. Had that play stood, he'd have set the NFL record for passing yards in a game.

It seems just like yesterday when I was sitting on the pot reading TD about a 3 star QB from tOSU transferring in to LSU and one of his former teammates saying that we were getting the next Tom Brady. And now Joe Burrow is the manifestation of video game processing brainpower through one’s youth meeting superior athletic ability doing shite we all dreamed of…. God blessed Joe Burrow

He was a 4 star on 24/7 composite as well as 247 sports and ESPN. The only place I saw him listed as a 3 star was Rivals, who I personally find to be the least trustworthy.
