Former Florida coach Urban Meyer talked about Tiger Stadium in the Netflix documentary "Swamp Kings" and said it was "the most difficult environment to date" that he has ever faced in his life.

He also had some funny comments about "old ladies flipping old ladies flipping you off" as the team bus headed to the stadium.

I did not go to the 07 game but I was there for 79 usc. To me that was the most electric crowd I've been in. From starting whistle to final gun

I was at that 07 game - I had felt thunder affect my skin before but that was the first time I'd ever felt physical impression of people yelling. It was surreal.
Can never be duplicated, certainly never forgotten.

Such a class act classy event on Saturdays. Parents must be so proud of their little freshman girl joining a sorority and getting fricked up all day on football days

I remember in 07 seeing him and the team sitting on the bus after the game. We were yelling and trying to rock the bus and he had his eyes closed looking like he was sleeping off that arse whopping

FL does bring out the best is us. I watched the 2019 game again the other night. The fans were chanting something the last few mins that Joe Burrow commented on at the time and said was awesome or something. His first time of experiencing the real Tiger Stadium was that FL game.

07 & 09 Florida games were incredible atmospheres. Lucky to be there for both. The old beast has some magic in her for the big ones.

A_Rational_Tiger_Fan - agreed. i sat in the south endzone then, and me and my brother were screaming at each other and couldn't hear a word the other was saying.

07 USC - Stanford final score announcement was the absolute loudest and for the longest duration. I was at all of the other "loudest" games. None had the duration nor the volume. You couldn't yell loud enough in someones ear for them to make out what you were saying. The thing was that ALL of the fans, BOTH LSU and Florida, were screaming along with both benches going nuts. There had never been a situation where that occurred where fans from BOTH sides were losing it at the same time for so long. Besides that, the anticipation had been building during the game as the score was displayed that Stanford was winning. When the score went final the place erupted for the solid two minutes of the commercial time out and barely recovered by the time the ball was snapped after the time out. It was like nothing I've ever experienced - perhaps a wonder of the world.

So...old ladies flipping me off and old ladies flipping the old ladies off that are flipping me off? Calm down ladies. There's enough to go around.

I remember one qb saying the stadium was so loud his eyeballs were shaking and he couldn't get the signals from the sideline.

"remember one qb saying the stadium was so loud his eyeballs were shaking and he couldn't get the signals from the sideline."

Think that was a WR from SC in 2012.
