Apparently it did to Mississippi State, Missouri and Auburn. Just take your loss and move on.

I tend to agree with him. We are playing a season after losing 32 players from the 2019 roster 14 of whom were drafted with 5 going in the 1st round. Then LSU has a new DC and is changing Defensive scheme from 3 man front to a 4 man front. All with very young and green players. This would require a lot if coaching in the Spring which LSU did not have. Then the Fall practice was limited to 20 hours per week for about 4 or 5 weeks. Hell there was barely enough time to get players in physical shape much less install a new defense. LSU was using a new QB on offense in Brennan and now he is out and we have two true Freshmen playing. So how much time have they really had to prepare for SEC Defenses?
SEC aside, there are Conferences playing 7 or 8 games. The SEC plays 10 SEC only games. The ACC is a joke as is the Big12.
There is no tailgating, few fans, and piped in fake crowd noise. There is no home atmosphere.
This season was thrown together so schools could make enough TV money to make it through the Covid year.
So yeah, it is a year which will carry an asterisk forever due to the dysfunctional nature of its entire concept.

He should say "my bad" since he could be out there doing something about it... not that I think he should have stayed, but in theory, he could be making a difference.

Keep telling yourself that. Maybe it will become true. The season counts in the record books.

There were times last year I thought he felt that judging by the way he covered (or didn’t) and some of his ole’ tackling like when Tee Higgins ran him over for a TD

Fulton was a fighter, stayed and is a National Champion. He’s always got a fan in me. God bless him and his family.

This statement says everything you need to know about this team’s attitude. They’ve quit

I'm happy they quit, I was worried that they are as bad as they look, which is worse than any football team I have ever seen. Because right now, any of Curley Hallman's LSU teams could kick this one's ass.

Bama's not complaining and playing it like that. Neither is Clemson. Or Ohio State. Or Florida. Or Notre Dame. Or Georgia. Or A&M.

Kid just trying to put a spin on a crazy year and season with this very serious virus out there killing folks. I don't see where he said anything that out of the way, he's right imo anyways because that's how I've looked at all of the teams winning championships this year. Like they should be an asterisk next to their championships because of this very serious Covid-19 virus, and just the strangeness and shortness of the sports seasons.

"with this very serious virus out there killing folks" .... yes, but almost exclusively killing old people with multiple preexisting conditions. Only 6% of "Covid deaths" are from Covid alone. Of course any death is sad, but the risk for people under 70, and particularly young people, is tiny. Up to 80k die from regular flu every year, but we don't shut things down. 40k die from car accidents, but we don't shut down the roads.

Yeah, but my point is only losers say this to make themselves feel better when they're getting their arse kicked. All the other schools had to deal with the same thing as use in the SEC and they're not complaining. They're doing fine. This team is a joke.
