JD needs to have the same mentality as Joe did in 2019. My guys are better than yours and if you go man I’m going to throw it to him and trust he’ll make a play. Or if I stick in this pocket for a second longer I trust my guys will get open

He can't make the throws that Joe made. And those guys aren't Chase and Jefferson either.

Even if he can't make those throws and they aren't the same wr the post still has merit. That's what they need to be thinking.

It’s not like Joe’s arm strength is much better than Daniels’. He DOES have at least enough arm to make those throws. If you’re talking accuracy it’s obviously a different story.

I wonder if Boutte decided to show up

Why in the world is he making this public? Some things just need to stay within the team.

Indeed...

Because he hears the noise from sites like this one and wants people to know that they know she need to shut up.

it always seems weird to announce when these happen

I know he dropped a pass but Boutte looked pumped body language wise when Nuss entered the game.

Is Nabers open? If not, run…

This is what natural leaders do when things aren't going well. Get our confidence and trust back in the passing game. The OL is playing much better. JD has more time to see the field. The WR's need to fight for the ball when it comes their way and realized its not going to be thrown perfectly every time. We need a decent passing game to win championships, so lets all work together to make it happen.

Natural leaders don’t have to call meetings. They lead by example and performance.

Or when they sense their job is on the line and want to poison others. Hope im wrong but the timeline here seems suspect.

The kids are trying do do something about getting better and here goes some of the poisonous fanbase to tear them down like Snoop and TigerDebaiter here. Sad really.

Jayden is an exceptional and experienced QB. His WR's need to know EXACTLY where they should be on EVERY SINGLE PLAY, even if they aren't the primary target. He know where they're supposed to be, but apparently they haven't been getting there. I'm guessing he had a "Come to Jesus" about getting their stuff together, and NOT dropping the ball anymore (yeah...that's for the diva Boutte).

Right. It's all the WR's fault.

I seriously doubt he got them together to place all the blame on them. Hope you don’t have a leadership role in whatever it is you do.

This site is so weird. At least Daniel’s cares and is trying. At least they want to do better. I like how they are addressing this so early in the season. Let’s support our Tigers!

So early? Is this a joke? We're one game from the season being halfway finished.
user avatar
lsulaker19 months
Not a joke at all. How often do you see these player only meetings towards the end of the season once the wheels have already fallen off?

It can only help. I’m glad to hear this happened. Hopefully it translates into more production on the field.

Good now they need to all get into the indoor facility and work on that trust with balls in the air and know what each other are going to do in certain situations. Then take it to the field and work in the elements. If they not willing to do that then they aren’t doing everything they can. They can do more even if it’s an hour a day! It will help to know what each other will be doing when the CB has a certain position on a certain route and where the safety is. If they can all get on the same page, it will make a tremendous difference on game day. They also need to slow the hell down. If you look at that Auburn game, they all seemed to be in a hurry and not confident in each other. You can’t just talk about that, you have to practice it, with everyone on the field like it would be a game or all we’ll see is the QB taking a chance and the WR running the wrong way on that chance ball. Back shoulders, double moves, what to do in zone or man. Etc.

Ban the transfer portal. No more , we’ve been gutted
user avatar

Without the Transfer Portal LSU wouldn’t be able to field a team you idiot. Look at LSUs Secondary, DL, OL, and like it or not at QB. Who the frick would be playing in some of these positions if it wasn’t for the Portal? Some of you are a special kind of stupid.

They didn't invite the other QB's?

They don't want them in the same page as well?

One guy said QB's, another (paraphrasing Nabers) said Jayden. Seems like something that should be cleared up.
