by TD Staff Reporter

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports
Multiple sources are reporting that LSU tight end coach Steve Ensminger is expected to be elevated to offensive coordinator on a full-time basis to replace Matt Canada.
LSU has not confirmed the news but both The Advocate and NOLA.com are reporting that the decision is expected to be completed in the coming days.
Both websites also report that current LSU consultant and longtime NFL receivers coach Jerry Sullivan will be hired for a full-time position on the staff and will work alongside Ensminger. Sulivan's title will likely be passing game coordinator. Per The Advocate:
He went 6-2 during that span, averaging 41 points in the wins but produced just 10 total points in the two losses to Alabama and Florida.
Sullivan, 73, joined LSU's support staff last August, working with wide receiver coach Mickey Joseph in an off-the-field role helping with game-planning and film study.
He was LSU's wide receiver coach from 1984-1990 and coached wideouts in the NFL for over 20 years with several teams.

Ed Orgeron plans to hire the former LSU quarterback and longtime assistant as his offensive coordinator, barring any last-minute snags, multiple sources confirmed Monday night to The Advocate. The move is not yet final but is expected to be completed in the coming days.
LSU officials reached Monday could not confirm the report.
Ensminger is expected to work alongside LSU consultant and longtime NFL receivers coach Jerry Sullivan, who is expected to be given a significant role in the offense. Sullivan's exact title is unclear, but he is likely to have a heavy hand in the Tigers' passing game.
