Former LSU quarterback Lindsey Scott has reportedly signed with East Mississippi Community College, according to The Advocate.

Scott, who was named the Gatorade Louisiana Football Player of the Year in 2015, announced Monday that he would be transferring from LSU.

The former LSU quarterback and Zachary High standout signed with East Mississippi Community College on Tuesday, EMCC coach Buddy Stephens told The Advocate.

Scott, a 5-10, 210-pounder who announced his transfer from LSU on Monday morning, joins the powerhouse junior college located in Scooba, Mississippi, about 70 miles west of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. EMCC is widely known for being the subject of the highly acclaimed Netflix documentary series “Last Chance U."

Good luck to you young man, Thank you for being a Tiger...Now go light it up at EMCC!

Its a smart move if he wants to play for a big school. He can show what he can do on the field instead of everybody questioning his size. im pulling for him and looking forward to seeing how he does.

Is he going to teach and play qb? Chances are he's smarter than most of the "professors" there.

All coaches at that level are similar. It's just blown up into epic proportion because it was on Netflix.

Sent his on-field OC to the press box because he mistakenly called a time out - in a meaningless bowl game. Buddy is a complete a-hole - and no, all coaches at that level aren't like that.

So he blew off Harvard for a shot at QB for LSU and is now at 'Last Chance U'? Damn this guy really wants to play! I'm rootin' like hell for him now! Will he have 4 years left when he gets back to D1?

What a perfect fit! Lindsey should be able to put up some ridiculous numbers (as per their coach), and get some much needed attention from pro scouts. I'm very excited for this young man and wish him all the luck in the world!

pro scouts won't put much stock in Juco numbers. He needs attention from bigger college coaches to move up.

From Ive Leagues to a glorified middle school. Les Miles lack of development has hit a new low.

I wish him the best of course. Just kind of hate to see him sacrifice his academics so much when he was literally ivy league material.

Wow, if he can't handle where he was, then I have no idea how he's going to handle that jackass of a coach. I'm a big fan of Junior Colleges though and I think we could pick some good players out of them recruiting wise. That QB who went to FAU would have been great IMO.
