It's really sad that there are so many miserable people posting comments on this issue. I guess that's where we're at in this moment in time. So many angry people posting. This nation needs a healing and more people need to find some spirituality...... or you can continue to live in misery and complain all the time.

Don’t let BLM ruin your opinion of the greatest sports hero in Louisiana history. What are you gonna say when your kids ask you about Drew, “he was great but...” how pathetic is that going to sound in the future. Enjoy life. Don’t let the dummies get in the way of happiness.

It doesn't take much conviction to write a hallmark message on a jersey. Brees already submitted to the mob pressure, forsakening his beliefs and principles because it was the easier thing to do. If Brees didn't stand up for his beliefs, why should I take his words seriously?

Just so we can learn from you, who is that mob, what is their pressure and what beliefs and principles Brees Is foresaking?

Where is the rapist peice of shite sticker Brees had on his helmet? That should command as big of a place on his signed jersey. I don't give a shite about the kneeling, but that horse shite he pulled with that fricking sticker on the helmet of my childhood team was the end of it for me.

pretty sad people like you making things up out of thin to try and have a gripe about a real man big enough and in service to God enough to admit when he made a perceptual mistake and strive to get better. Amen to real men like Drew Brees who do not allow fear/falsehoods/Satan interfere with their natural connection to their brothers.

It is a shame that people like you have your head so far up your arse that you don't see reality right in front of you.

Not all black people agree with BLM and kneeling, not all whites are racist. I could care less if someone kneeled, at least they aren't sticking the bird while doing it or burning the flag. Some place hands over hearts, other kneel. No big deal. BLM the org. Sucks communist bastards.

No respect for Brees. He is another sellout who went against his own beliefs because of what a few of his loser teammates thought. Caved in front of his own wife, kids, and the rest of America. Guess what Drew? They really don't respect you now. Thats why homeboy drove you into the ground and broke you. You had nothing left to prove and straight up blew it.

What is your issue again? That kneeling is a sign of respect except when you decide that it is not? Or that police can snuff the life out of someone and only blue lives matter?

Very cool of Drew to do that and Joe Biden did not receive 80 million votes.

We are a great nation which believes that a five-time broke business man can make things great again. Make magical thinking great again.

Nice gesture Drew Brees you are a Class Act, and a great ambassador for what a good person is. Unlike a person that is full of strife, because like the Bible says. Where there is strife, there is all kinds of evil works. Stay safe and Happy Holidays. Positivity - Stevie Wonder

This is very enlightening. Brees, a Louisiana icon and future Hall of Famer does a benevolent act towards Justin Jefferson, an LSU All-American and this resulted in the focus turning into the assassination of Brees character. I had no idea of the deep seated anger and lack of forgiveness that exists. I hope recruits are not reading this madness.

Justin Jefferson, an LSU All-American I love Jefferson, but that’s not true. And this whole thing exploded because a bunch of BLM militant-types decided not only to not forgive Brees for his reasonable approach to an act of respect and reverence, but instead publicly persecuted him for it. For days. Brees folded, and deserves scorn. Giving somebody his (as far as we know) his unsolicited jersey doesn’t change that, and it’s narcissistic, as well.

Pointing out the fact that Brees did a complete 180 and ended up putting a rapists name on his helmet to keep the heat off of himself doesn't make you a racist. It makes you sane and rational. Any of you that support cancel culture are part of the problem. You can be against racism and against ridiculous social justice movements at the same time.
