LSU will likely be without quarterback Myles Brennan vs. Alabama comes to Baton Rouge next Saturday.

During his weekly radio show this week, head coach Ed Orgeron said that Myles had a tough time practicing on Wednesday and that he is "very doubtful" for next week. Per SI.com:
quote:

"He tried to practice today. He practiced a little bit. It wasn't very good," Orgeron said. "It was hurting. So, we're going to see again tomorrow (Thursday). And we'll see how much he can practice next week. Right now, I'd have to say he's very doubtful the way it is."
Wednesday was Brennan's first practice since suffering a lower-body injury during the Missouri game on October 11.

Earlier this week, Orgeron said that freshmen quarterbacks TJ Finely and Max Johnson will compete for the starting spot if Brennan is unable to play vs. the Crimson Tide.

Damn not good, cause Brennan being 1-2 as a starter over a 4 1/2 year career is crucial.

This is year 4 and he played 3/10 games, so 3.3 years.

If I was O, I’d keep playing the freshmen so that there would be more of an asterisk around the 3-7 record.

Or give them experience for when CFB matters next year...

3-7?! They’ve only won 2 games. They will most definitely lose every other game. Sad but true....

do the LSU football players still run from the practice field , across Nichollson during rush hour, to the south stadium? I recall all those winded jocks, and large coolers of gatorade when I walked to the Hatcher Cafeteria. Do the football players get greasy chili on the off season, Charlie "Chili Mac" McClendon? Is a full ride athletic scholarship really worth all that extra work?

Sit em. We gonna get killed by Bama anyway. Why risk getting him reinjured. Need him for the rest of the season as we try our best to win another game.

At the end of the missouri game, he takes a helmet to the lower abdomen from a rusher. No flag, of course. Maybe that's when he got hurt. I deleted the dvr recording, so i can't show it.

As long as we continue to trot out our suspect defense, it really doesn't matter who the quarterback is. The outcome will not change.

Sounds like a sports or athletic hernia and, if so, they take forever to heal.

What's the big f'ing mystery regarding the injury? Strategically it means nothing.
user avatar
Skaterboi42 months
why do you need to know EXACTLY what it is. Maybe strategically it does means something. you don't know what it is so you can't really say if it does or not.
