Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports unveiled his latest 2019 NFL Mock Draft and has LSU players Greedy Williams and Devin White selected early in the first round.

Wilson has Williams as the first defensive back selected in the draft by Tampa Bay at No. 7 and White as the first overall linebacker selected to Cincinnati at No. 11.

White has yet to announce whether or not he will declare for the draft or return for his senior season.
quote:

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Greedy Williams, CB, LSU.

The Bucs are a mess on both sides of the ball but their defense has been particularly lacking this season. Williams may not be the most polished cornerback in this draft class but he is insanely athletic and has all the tools to become a great player. On a unit lacking playmakers in the secondary, Williams may be worth the gamble this early in the draft.

11. Cincinnati Bengals: Devin White, LB, LSU.

The Bengals' defense was exposed repeatedly in 2018 and inconsistent linebacker play was a big part of that. Vontaze Burfict, considered one of the most tenacious players in the league just a few years ago, has suffered multiple concussions and his career could be in jeopardy. White is one of the most dynamic players in the draft. He's a sideline-to-sideline thumper who would immediately solidify the middle of the defense, making life easier for both the front four and the secondary.

While this may be true. The draft is simple economics my friend; supply and demand.

Best decision for his family? I didn't even know he was married. He is too young to be married.

Ask Andrew Whitworth about playing in Cincinnati. He went unnoticed for several years playing at a All-Pro level.

Whitworth has career earnings of $77 million over twelve seasons. I think things worked out ok for him.

DW has character and money isn't everything! It will be there next year.

Why do some of you say Devin White is a fool to return? Not everyone puts money on a pedestal. It isn't as if it is unprecedented or rare for kids to return for their Senior season especially if they are protected by a $10,000,000 insurance policy. Hell, Clemson had several key players return because they wanted to give it one more shot. I guarantee you they are happy about it.

No Cincinnati is not a much better place to live than Baton Rouge. I have spent much time in Ohio and the Cincy area and I promise it is nothing special at all.
