If you were watching the AFC Championship game on Sunday between Baltimore and Kansas City, you probably saw the questionable taunting penalty that was called against Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers.

There was some discussion on social media about whether or not Flowers deserved the flag and former LSU star Joe Burrow chimed in:

Taunting to me is not touching another player or pushing him to the ground. Run your mouth, hand gestures all you want, but the second he pushed him I agree, it's a penalty.

Push, ball throw, and flex ... that is a penalty 10/10 times. That would be a fight in most other circumstances.

That's a taunting for sure. You may want to change the rule, but it's legit as it stands. Shoved the defender to the ground, spun the ball at his head, and flexed on top of him as he stared him down.

Yeah. All the Testosterone Overlords like to make their own rules. In total denial of sportsmanship.

Did you somehow miss the part where he wouldn’t let go of Flowers leg which caused Flowers to push him back into the turf?

That was one of the most flagrant taunts that I've ever seen. Seems like he stood over him for 5 mins. Surprised he didn't get his arse kicked afterwards to boot.

Totally disagree. One of my middle school players saw this crap and cost us a game because he basically did the same thing. It wasn't from this game but it was from this generation. They need to realize that they are role models and should set a better example for the younger generation.

The game has lost its class. No dignity or honor left in the game.

Coach him up better

A professional athletes job is to be a professional athlete. If younger players need a role model, then they can look to their parents.

Karma came back and bit Flowers in the a$&. His fumble at the goal line after that was costly. He was talking crap when his team was down 17-7. His teammates should have sat his butt down and told him to shut up and play ball. Yes, I’m old school…

Call was only made to help make sure there would be a Taylor swift Super Bowl. NFL is 100% rigged.

BS Call!! Travis Swift can taunt every time he catches a big throw but the Ravens players can’t! BS!

That penalty wasn't "questionable," at all. I'm glad karma came back to haunt that dope.

Flowers taunts Sneed. Few plays later, Sneed knocks the ball out of Flowers hands for a fumble recovery in the end zone. Karma is undefeated.

Sneed is also a Louisiana native. Played at La Tech.

It may not have been called had he not shoved Sneed back down to the turf. So, Yes. It should have been called.

Does the NFL allow taunting on Pride Night? Couldn’t imagine watching that garbage.

The push is what did it I think. I don't agree with that. It was stupid.

Do like I. Just say no to the NFL. This year’s Super Bowl. Two national anthems, a half time performer that hates the police, they are going to glorify Taylor Swift who is an abomination to everything spoken of in the Bible as sin. She proclaims Climate Change and that the masses should do without so she can chase her boyfriend around the country in a private jet to do they can make out wherever.

I watch zero NFL, and I mean zero. I've done that for years, after the NFL went full Woke. They have that right, of course, and I have the right to turn the channel.
