re: All you Charlie Kirk conspiracy theorists, watch something and learn

You wont be supporting them.
One thing I got from it is that all these conspiracy theorists could be used by the defense. If you really believe this crap, would you be willing to work with the defense and try to let that POS shooter walk based on some conspiracy of a second shooter, exploding mic, or drone?
And do you think some twenty something year old man is willing to take the fall and be tortured for the rest of his life for "the Jews who control the world"?

Well said.
The world is forever changed. He could have had a direct impact like he was doing for 40-50 more years. I personally believe he could have been elected president.
He was an incredible Christian and voice for a generation.

Yes. It is difficult for me. I am very sad and angry. He was a good Christian man. Someone to look up to, even at 31. I almost still dont believe it. Like I am oddly waiting on him to release a video about this. This is a huge problem where all it takes is one scumbag can influence the entire world. Charlie Kirk was the #1 conservate voice for me.

That is all that I am seeing. The media doesnt show republican tweets. Just dem presidential hopefuls offering their take on it.

Sooner or later we all have to come to the conclusion that these types of people are America's greatest enemy. The sooner we realize and address this, the better.
ISIS is also evil.

99% of players and coaches instruct the defender to take away the right (strong) hand but that plays right into her strength. I always try to send shooters to their strong hand. That going right step back is always weaker or they can get funneled into helpside. If the player can hit the right side step back or can dice you up with passes, you are screwed every single way.
It was cringey to watch LSU send Clark left in the last game we played her. Nearly every off the dribble 3 was a left side step back. I wonder the basketball intelligence level of D1 and above womens players and coaches. Im not saying Im some former D1 player or coach, but I know enough to observe things like that.

re: Capitol One buys discover
Posted by wizard of smart on 5/27/25 at 7:19 am to AUVet21
I have a Capital One card and Discover. I like Capital One at little better because I get more cash back, but discover has the 5% back every quarter that I try to take advantage of. Discover has gift cards with more added value like 10%, 15%, 20% off. It is rare for Capital One to have a gift card go on sale, at least one worth getting.

re: Theory on why the NBA is so trash these days

Olympic basketball was electric. I cant put a reason as to why but it had to be the defense. Other "less NBA talented" countries were competing with USA superstars.
NBA needs to get rid of the illegal defense rule. Allowing zones will create another avenue for competitive creativity.
Watching players take 3 or 4 steps, carrying the ball, and calling it skill is gross. :yack: :yack:

re: Are indoor malls making a comeback?
Posted by wizard of smart on 1/27/25 at 10:11 am to FLBooGoTigs1
Shreveport Bossier malls are dying. Every store is either a mall hut turned store, urban shoe store, or urban clothing store.
Even our outdoor shopping Boardwalk is dead slow. I dont know how these places make it.
My kids love running in the mall though but its been a year since we've been. There are less than 5 stores for a guy like me.

There is probably not a razer sharp enough to cut through all that armpit hair for that one on the left

Kind of related....that was the slowest player I've ever seen return a kickoff for a td. Maybe he's fast and just looked slow. I don't know, but it looked like everyone was running in boots in the mud.
re: Am I supposed to believe 20 million more people voted during covid?

I am comparing state by state 2020 vs 2024....
The only swing state that is questionable is Arizona, but both parties numbers were down by the nearly the same amount. Otherwise GA, MI, WI, and PA were close to the numbers in 2020.
The big difference in numbers is already blue states like California. Massive difference between 2024 and 2020
ETA: Votes still coming in in Arizona and California so :dunno:
