I think you are looking at this from a 2003 until now view, but that just so happens to be the golden era of LSU football. The floor should be nine wins a year with a catastrophe year being 8 wins. The true expectation is 10 wins and above each year and in the playoff conversation going into November each year. We should be in the playoff at least once every 2 or 3 years and in the natty game every 5 and should win one of those every 10 years. If I were AD that would be my realistic expectation that I would share with the head coach.

He’s won national championships at different levels and has won more games than any notre dame coach. How is that not winning big. Notre dames recruiting challenges makes it hard to win a championship at. They just don’t have the recruiting area to produce the skill players needed to win at that level anymore.
