Ok Hank, come to LSU and we’ll double your salary.
Hank: ok

Trust Woodward...

We worried about what this man gets paid when players are breaking banks now? Come on!

So essentially we have several position coaches that would only leave for head coaching or huge money coordinator jobs. My only guess is that they are trying to keep this coaching staff intact for years, by paying them obscene amounts of money. Not even the NFL are poaching these cats unless it's for a coordinator job

Parrish•57 months

I'd be surprised if NFL WR coaches make this much money.

Swazla•57 months

So we have to literally bribe quality coaches to come to LSU. That reaaly make me proud.

NorthSider72•57 months

Welcome to the real world. Why do you think he was at Georgia? Because he liked peaches?

Spankem•57 months

Money talks. Just like in every other job...

CanebreakCajun•57 months

How do you think you get quality people to start with? You pay them well. If you are a business and you want that bad arse salesgirl who works at your rival, guess what, pay them more and get her.

Mr Cell Phone•57 months

Hell we are still paying coaching staffs from three years ago .

BlackPot•57 months

So is every other top college

panzer•57 months

This is an incredible amount of money to pay a person for anything other than the highest position in an organization. Professional and collegiate athletics are so out of touch with these pay scales that it is almost obscene.

panzer•57 months

I changed my mind. It is absolutely obscene.

Woodward strikes again.

If LSU wins, no one gives a damn about salaries. If LSU doesn’t win, it will matter.

Coordinator money

Hurricane Mike•57 months

People like to think Saban sets the coaching salary market, no, LSU paying every coach 50-100% more than their previous salary for the last 5+ years has. LSU: Always bidding against itself

Luckydog•57 months

Have yall seen your O line coach salary? How about your new D line coach!! It is silly - guess water will be $5 per bottle and beers $12

Babboo•57 months

Looks like Kelly and Administration doesn’t want to play “let’s find a new staff” every off season like they did with Coach O. Pay the men you want and keep them around if you like their results. If you don’t pay them, someone else will. Get your staff and build a program.

eugene1928LSU•57 months

Good gosh, does he also play WR for us next year? Unbelievable money for a position coach.
