Four-star wide receiver Omarion Miller from Vivian, LA announced his de-commitment from LSU on Sunday afternoon.

Miller, a 6-2, 190-pound prospect from North Caddo HS was LSU's first commitment for the 2023 class when he gave his verbal pledge to the Tigers last August.

In other words, I'm going to compare NIL monies from other schools.

Omicron, go ahead and enjoy the recruiting process. Hopefully, if you decide to attend LSU there will be a preferred walk-on spot left for you.

Just slap an NFL shield on this professional development league already. Universities have only themselves to blame for what they have become.

He committed very early and probably wants to enjoy his process, NW La has been good to LSU despite years where NW La didnt seem a priority to LSU, Prude, Tre, Mo, Marshall, D. Cotton, Ardarius was told to look around, Baskerville, Greedy, Devin. Rashard, Campbell, Cam Lewis etc and soon Heard. Devin flirted heavily with Bama til the very end, some of S Louisiana "true bloods" like 'Bayou bred' need to check your selves. Only C Rob, Devall, Mathis and Law whos still a ? come to mind from the past several years. I bet Omarion ends up a tiger, i doubt he chooses Nebraska over LSU

This bullschit again? LSU sure has had a ton of kids from there for not prioritizing the Nw La area.

Get use to this.. this will happen more and more as the highest bidder wins.. just becuz you sign a 4 -5 star player one year doesn’t mean he will be here the next year.. the NIL is now college free agency.. they need to eliminate the word “ commitment”…

My understanding was always that kids get a certain amount for unofficials and then a greater amount for official visits. In the non-NIL era at least, and for the highly touted guys. Also that they need to be uncommitted to get the $. I'm going to assume that this is the case here. Long way to go for the final offers and signature.

Calling them commitments is the first that should change.

Yeap. I don’t blame the kid. I blame the system. The system that explained what “commitment” means

He's a Mickey Joseph kid, and he's visiting Nebraska this weekend. Doesn't take a genius to figure this one out.
