Brian Kelly and the LSU coaching staff landed a big-time commitment from four-star offensive tackle Tyree Adams on Friday.

The New Orleans native (St. Augustine HS) is LSU's 17th verbal commit for the class of 2023.

Adams, a 6-8, 285-pound prospect, is rated the No. 15 overall offensive tackle in the country and the No. 15 overall player from the state of Louisiana, according to Rivals.

That’s putting a 6’8” guy on offense in a game with a touchdown needed.

People can argue which team is the best year-over-year. But the Tigers are always ranked #1 on everyone’s list of the team they are most scared of playing in any given year.

I don’t know man, I’m as much of a Tiger homer as any, but I don’t think other teams were scared of us during many of the seasons we had cartoon coaches on the sideline. They might be getting scared consistently now though, because we have a successful coach that can speak clear and concise english intelligently, with the keys to the ferrari in hand.
