Elite four-star defensive tackle and major LSU target Jaquelin Roy announced his top three schools on Monday and included the Tigers in the group, along with Alabama and Texas A&M.

Roy, a 6-4, 300-pound prospect from University Lab in Baton Rouge was a one-time LSU commitment but reopened his recruitment in late February.

He is rated the No. 4 defensive tackle in the country, and the No. 1 overall player from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2020, according to Rivals.

Man I want him bad but we need guys that want to be here and are motivated.. he was committed but in the end it is his decision and he has to life with it and there really isn't a bad choice between those three schools they all have good things and bad things going for them

Let the kid around peacefully, and make the right decision in consultation with his parents. It's up to his parents to guide him and make sure that he doesn't make a commitment for the wrong reasons. We had to do that with our daughter. She was vascillating on going to a major college (OU) and staying close to home over a boyfriend. We finally had to step in and help her make the right choice. I'm sure Jacqueline's adult family will help him.

DT Jaquelin Roy is going to sign with LSU simply because he's being recruited to play DE in DC Dave Aranda's system. I don't blame these kids for taking all of their officials I mean grown arse adults likes to feel special from time to time so why can't these kids? And as far as the 3 schools go most of these 17, 18 year olds love the drama of the hats on the table but when it's all said and done Roy will be a Tiger. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!PURPLEREIGN????????

I can't really imagine Roy going anywhere else but LSU. As his family lives nearby LSU and he would just be hanging them out to dry. I don't think he is that stupid unless he is planning to take them with him.

Obviously dumb enough to be strung out to signing day by top in state Dlineman every year for the past 20 years only for them to go to bama F that if you put bama in your top 3 especially knowing he has teammates from high school already there I'm done with it. There's a huge difference btwn Florida, California & Texas and Louisiana. There's only 1 P5 College in La. but those other 3 states have 4+ Universities from a P5 Conf that are capable of making the CFP. LA has LSU period! The best College other than LSU is what LaTech & they don't have a prayer of be making the CFP unless it expands to 64 like CBB LOL!!!
