Can't help but respect the hell out of that club. They fell apart there a bit at the end, but they mostly played very solid baseball and didn't make a big show of it.
It's clear that Coach Curry is a substantial leader and force in college baseball.
I honestly thought Cano was going to bury us.

A true ambassador for college baseball...and a total class act for everyone to follow.

I swear I thought that dang CF was going to come down with Jones HR. That kid covered some ground. Bouncing off the wall.

Same lol. He looked like he was about to launch into the air

That guy SINGLE-HANDEDLY saved LR at least 2 maybe 3 runs! He covered a LOT of ground in CF.

I know one thing, I was very relieved to get the final out last night. It took everything we had to beat that team

As they say, "baseball is a funny game where on any given day, your team can win, despite the odds".

Little Rock showed a tremendous amount of grit, little or no showboating and battled to the end. Respect for Coach Curry.

I really hope this series propels that program to new levels. That was a successful loss for them…. And I know JJ is the most relieved man in the world.

Impressive performance. How does one team go from .400 in a crap conference do smoking the 2nd and 13th highest odds teams to win CWS? Crazy because the 243rd RPI in football, which would be the very bottom of the FCS, would lose 90-0 against a Bama, Ohio St, and our beloved LSU. Baseball isn't as much about physicality and speed as football is what that suggests.

6 starters out most of the year. Most didn’t come back until tournament time. That’s how.

Coach Curry must be a pretty impressive dude. Ben was raving about him too.

I looked up Coach Curry. Apparently they won the OVC in 2024. He's definitely been on the up and up and hopefully it continues.

Ridiculous that you'd make this comment. They also made good defensive plays, got our batters out, and had timely hitting en route to a big victory that put LSU on the backfoot.

Dad should have walked out on mom the 11 times she begged him to have you.

Listen, I think that LR should play LSU again in the Box and if they win they should take a victory lap while we applaud and cheer.
