braker's highschool film is extra violent. but, lb is not a easy jump from hs to high end college football. the mental part is complex. I would love to see the hs violence he is capable of in the games for lsu.

we should know what we are getting. performance, not much loyalty.

rbs have to block, not just run the ball. maybe jackson had an injury, but outside of williams, (on paper). jackson should be a more effective rush blocker because of size and strength. it is unlikely the new guys coming in will be effective blockers in the sec without more development.

re: Sage Ryan calls Weeks the Honkey Badger

If we play 'neck' and unedited music by Boosie in tiger stadium, I think Honky Badger is a go. In fact, I think he should do NIL promos with George Jefferson on a t shirt.
i dont think ucla offered. he has one year left and he may or may not recover from the acl. I am not convinced he had a logical choice but to return. acl recovery is not a given. Mason smith is a good example. he had an acl in the first game and was never really himself the following season.

running gate reminds me of harvey williams (without the neck)

she looks like 'eddie' from Iron Maiden.
when howard left, there was a glaring need for a quarterback after nuss, so underwood saw an opportunity to get on the field early. if howard had not left, we do not know if underwood would come. also, colin hurley (and most other quarterbacks) will not start in year one. to speculate, howard would be better positioned, with his experience in the program, to take over for nuss should he be injured in 2024 or leave after his junior season. poor choice by howard, imo.
oh, i suppose they are unrelated to the university of Wisconsin. ok.
what would be super cool is a mike hologram. either in the cage or projected on the field.

re: Disparity in prospect rankings

Posted by mmtiger on 8/11/23 at 10:09 am to
sure, but if i say LoLo is a 10, and you say she is a 2, we are both looking at the same thing (i am right because a crazy woman can ruin your life). there should be someone who comes along and says, 'ok, she is a 6 or a 5.5'.

Disparity in prospect rankings

Posted by mmtiger on 8/11/23 at 10:02 am
There has always been some differences among the recruiting publications (espn, on3, rivals, 247), but this year it appears more extreme. On3 has each player and their ranking on all recruiting sites. This year it seems more disparity (not always). A good example is recent commitment Jelani Watkins (55,22,10,64). Do each have the same hs tapes? does ranking have to do with attendance at recruiting site camps? Or, horribly, is it politics?

i would put in for a statue.
i seem to remember an offensive lineman from louisiana that had a gun charge in a park. wrong place, wrong time?

wait til moffit gets a hold of him.

props to kelly

i think he suspected Ricks wouldnt come and kept harris in the wings. Perhaps he was keeping harris quiet until ricks signed, and would sign harris anyway. but, kelly made sure it was not a losing situation.

anyone know what kind of knee injury he had?
the difference may be his pass catching ability, like CEH.

the last drive

this team's potential was demonstrated on the last drive. that was pretty impressive and showed some mental toughness.
